The Barn Owl and The Moon depicts a Barn owl in flight over a meadow, accompanied by the luminous full moon which features in many of my artworks. The painting was inspired by the Barn owl’s ghostly beauty and its silent, purposeful movement through the night. The acrylic wash creates a soft, atmospheric backdrop, while the pen details bring focus to the owl’s striking features and flowing wings. With this piece I wanted to capture the mystery and calm of nocturnal life, inviting viewers to pause and reflect on the quiet magic of the natural world.
